i'm wide reader person, thus, it's not a surprise that i would love reading children's books! i'm always a fan of young adult fiction but i still love reading children'd books. i like different versions of fasiry tales. how did "Little Mermaid" really end? and others. I like books by Dr. Seus. and i also read the Rugrats book series. it's so cute. i really like the series and i was thrilled when i saw they have them in print. it still is fun for me!

I'm a teacher, so yes, i read a lot of children's books. One day I would like to write one. The best way to do that is to read children's books. A lot of them. I'm also a Harry Potter fan and have read all of the books. I'm looking forward to reading the 7th one this summer.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by children's books. I have been reading youth/young adult books and have been enjoying them. I started reading them as research because I felt all the books geared toward the tweens were mysteries. I wanted to get a feel for what I could write about if I chose to write in that genre.
Also, I have a distant family member who writes youth books and children's books. I have been reading collections of short stories that she put together or contributed to.
