Flu in UK

Yes a lot of the Uk has been taken poorly by some horrible flu/virus/cold, it lasts for months and keeps returning,not sure what it is but a lot of people have been so poorly they have ended up in hospital more so the elderly, very young and already poorly people. I hope it goes soon though, never had anything lke it, my daughter is still coughing 3 months later adn so are many others and on return to the doctor we are just gven more antibiotics.
