Childbirth... Natural or DRUGS PLEASE!

Do you want or did you have a natural birth or Drugs. I went 100% Natural until the C-Section. I didn't want to drug my baby in any way! My sister had drugs for one and not the other. What do you think???

I wanted to have a natural childbirth but my mother in law kept saying you better take something for the pains and you will regret it and she got me scared while I was in the laber room she kept on and on and told my husband to get me something I told him NO, then she really got in my nreves so I went ahead and took the epidural. Wished that I hadn't done that.silly me had to listen to her I took the childbirth classes and guess what I never experienced the natural childbirth. After I had my daughter I had two miscarraiges. Now I am 46 my husband thinks I am too old to have a baby now. So you decided what you want not for them that was mt big mistake.Good Luck

AN epidural isnt't that bad of a thing. Always do what you want though and don't listen to your inlaws! A friend has two more kids later on in life, she was 47 & 49 when she had her 2nd set of kids! So tell your husband you want another babu and good luck! Thanks for responding to my post!

I had no choice with either of my kids but to have them natural. With my first child I started out with an epidural, but my blood pressure went sky high and they had to stop the epidural. After that when they turned it back on it blocked. So I ended up having him natural. My second child was a little different but still had her natural. They could not give me an epidural because I was 9 cm dialated by the time I got to the hospital. So there was no time. Well needless to say after having two kids completely natural when I have zero pain tolerance. I decided to get my tubes tied. NO more kids for me!

Wow, sounds like #2 went very quickly! 1st one wasn't the best though huh. I love it, I had a hysterectomy after my duaghter, so there was no 2nd chance here! Thank you for your response!
