groceries? where do you shop bid chain stores...

We have an Aldi's and I call it our budget breaker. They have so many things that we could shop there only. We do take advantage of Walmart. We price match since normally we are loss leader shoppers. We can feed the four of us and spend only about 100 dollars. That is cat food and dog treats also. We do not have a Sav-a-Lot or a Wegmans here.

I live in central Scotland and I do most of my grocery shopping at Morrison's , They have a lot of Bye One Her One Free , I love my bargains , I hate to pay full price for anything unless I really must lol , WE have Aldi here too and they have some fantastic bargains I do my top up shopping there too , I love to go shopping , how sad ids that lol xx

My favorite store is Wegmans, a New York based chain that's not too big but big enough to be good. Giant Eagle is good too, for the sales. The place I use for most of the groceries is Save-a-Lot or Aldis and then I use Wegmans for fresh produce and meats, plus sales and Giant Eagle for the sales.

I love Wegman's, but with gas prices what they are, it's a drive for me (sadly, it's about 30 miles away and that's just too much these days.) We have Weis stores here, and that tends to be where we do that majority of our every week shopping, but I like to shop at Sam's club when I can to stock up on things and take the stink out of the weekly grocery bill.

Here in the Philipppines, we do shop at SM supermarket and prices are cheaper compared to the supermarket outside. Thrice a year they always offer 20% to 50% off on selected items. That would be a very big savings compared to the regular price.And lastly, all you need can be found at SM supermarket.

I do alot of my shopping at Aldis and Save A Lot. But I don't buy my meats at either store. For my meats I go to Schnucks or Meijers.
