Who is the best superhero and why?

I like Batman the most. He's intelligent and resourceful, and although he doesn't have any of the cool superpowers that other characters do, it's more of a plus than a drawback, because it makes him that much more bad@ss, since he has to rely on his own strength. I also like his image. He's a much darker character than a lot of them.

He is also more handsome and very rich :) I like Spiderman. He is just cool. He can swing from building to building without having to have the right gadget. The suit is not nearly as great as batman's...and he doesn't have the Batmobile, but he can climb buildings.

Spiderman comes in a very close second for me, almost a tie. He's definitely my favorite one that actually has powers, because he has some great ones, but they're not so great that he has it easy, like that wuss, Superman. (Uh-oh, there goes my rating lol). I don't have anything against Superman, I just don't think his conflicts are as compelling as Spiderman's or Batman's, that's all.

"He can swing from building to building without having to have right gadget." In fact, he can't. He's using web shooters (he designed them). Check this: www.command-design.com/spider-man/webshooter.htm Now I sound like a geek lol

My favorite superhero would be Spider Man. I used to read the comics regularly when I was younger. He's one of the realistic heroes if I may say, as he faces most of the problems that ordinary people do. He has to pay rent, he has his responsibilities at school, there is his aunt and his life is in such a contrast to what he is with his costume.

He's my second. . .well, kinda. . .he's pretty much tied for first, but Batman's just a little ahead of him, probably because Batman was the first superhero I can remember knowing about. Like you said, Spiderman's out-of-costume life as Peter Parker is probably one of the best things about him. Most of the other Superheroes don't have very interesting lives compared to Spidey's. He's much more human than the others, and if you were a superhero, that's probably what life would be like if you tried to still maintain your normal identity.

Well you took my choice :) To me Batman is the best super hero. I've always liked the Dark Knight. He's human and he puts it all on the line every time he goes out. Unlike other superheroes he doesn't have any powers to aid him. He just has his own skill, intelligence and of course money to buy/make those fantastic toys of his. When he goes out to help others he puts his life on the line. He can be hurt, killed, found out and he never knows each night if he'll come back or not. To me he is a much bigger hero then the others.

Batman is a good character. Daredevil also has a good story and he relay most on his strength and ability. He looks a bit like flash, and since I like red I think it is a good look for a superhero.

Daredevil is a good character, too. Unfortunately, I haven't read anything he's been in, nor have I seen the movie all the way through, (though the part I saw looked a little corny). The last thing I clearly remember about Daredevil, besides part of the movie, was a guest appearance on the Spiderman cartoon (the 90s one) when I was a little kid. Wow, I can't believe I remember that.
