Do u believe that if u will do CRUCIFIXION it will lessen ur sin???

I am not really into these kind of things. So, practically, I don't believe in it either. But people, we should understand them, that is their faith, right? That is their identity. I know about an African who posted a similar thing. Yes, he too is against it, but I don't agree with what he said. Why? He judged the people participating in the said event even though he know little about Philippine traditions, our history and culture. Do you think he's right? He haven't even tried to research, and or tried to communicate with the people involved. With the way he talk, he claims that he is Christian. But is that what a Christian should do? Judging just by seeing? I have asked about it to a Christian friend and we had the same views. He said "he should have just done it in a nice way, and if he is what he claims he is, he should have provided information". I'm sorry, I'm just disgusted about what that guy did. It felt like an attack on Filipinos.

The logic of getting crucifixed to lessen your sins is useless for me. I don't really believe in this. What I believe in is that, the important thing to do is repent sincerely for your sins and promise to not do it again.

What Jesus did on the cross for us, Reyshel, was a one time thing. It can not be copied by anyone else. it is finished. And we recieve it by faith the atonement for our sins.
