any new unknown masterieces of literature of your country?

there are several books called world literature, and i dont mean necessarily of authors with a nobel prize in literature. Dickens Oliver Twist, Goethes Faust, Tolkiens Lord of the ring, Dostojewski Brother Kamarasov, Tolstoi war and peace, Melvielle Moby Dick..... I adore such books, they show what human is able to do, what life is all about. I read all the mentioned books and much more, and now i am looking for unknown books of the some quality. Unknown for me, for my european culture, not necessarily unknown in other cultures. Please, if somebody from a non-european country can give me the name and title of such a piece of written magic of his own country, i would appreciate this very much. I like poetry and prosa as well.
