Do you think that these food poisoning cases are linked?

I know that food poisoning happens sometimes. But in the history of the United States we have had more recalls from food poisoning cases than ever. It has been spinach, lettuce, peanut butter, pet food, chicken, I know there are others also just can't think of all of them right off the top of my head. I have been thinking about it. I don't think theses cases are accidents. I think that there is a conspiracy that a group of people of a terrorist cells has been trying to see, if they could poison the American Food supply, maybe to one day poison it with something even more deadly. What is your theory on all of the food that has been contaminated? Do you think it is possible that it is related?

i wouldnt go as far as linking them to terrorism, but then again you never know. you are right however, there sure seemed to be quite a few more cases these past couple of years than i recall hearing about in the past 5 years. i hope hope hope that the are NOT related. but this whole pet food poisoning thing is pretty scary to me. its BIG. i dont ever remember there being a case that was this widespread among brands before.

It is funny, because it has been wide spread among food, that us the customers buy and eat. Because it is pet food people are more scaried than they are about the food, we eat.

It is totally possible and maybe even by some of our own people. We have been complacent about our food, water, travel, and other systems. We must take notice and become proactive about our own personal safety and secondarily the safety of our communities. The more we become divided the easier we will be to conquer and control in the end. Become an active participant in your life and you may live to see another day. Just my thoughts since you asked. :)

I'm thinking along the same lines--though I'm not sure whether it's a terrorist conspiracy or not in the sense that most people think of terrorism (i.e. coming from some hot-spot like the Middle-East). While it could very well be exactly that, I have yet another theory... Food poisoning shows up at a single Chi-Chi's in Pennsylvania. It could happen to anyone. If it were some popular Mom & Pop restaurant, there probably wouldn't be a big fuss about it. However, it was a deep-pockets chain establishment, so bring on the trial lawyers with their class-action suits. There is not a single Chi-Chi's restaurant left open anywhere in the country--and, likely, not anywhere in the world. It's easy to think of these chain operations (e.g. Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Chi-Chi's, etc.) as some kind of nameless, faceless monster. We have a love-hate relationship with them. There seems to be a kind of thrill of bringing them down--even a single one or two of them. It's a kind of David vs. Goliath thingie. Personally, I've never seen it that way. While I'm a big believer in the Mom & Pop establishments and want to preserve them, I think that they and the chains can co-exist. We need to remember that these chains usually began as Mom & Pop establishments and that they aren't nameless and faceless. There are real people at the top and real people on down through the ranks. When all of those Chi-Chi's were closed down, think about how many people ended up being out-of-work. Let's imagine a scene like this... Food-poisoning happens. People are encouraged by trial lawyers to participate in class-action suits. The very possibility of getting something for nothing proves to be quite a temptation for some. Most of the people participating in these kinds of suits aren't even victims of such things as food poisoning but are eligible to participate because they have eaten at a Chi-Chi's in, say, Missouri during the same time that the incident of food poisoning happened in that one Chi-Chi's in Pennsylvania. Are these trial lawyers in on the conspiracy? Some might be. Most probably aren't. They're just earning a living by doing what's in demand to be done. A trial lawyer knows that, by not participating, he won't be stopping this, because another trial lawyer will just step in. Said trial lawyer would have to be awfully strong not to give in to the temptation to have this opportunity to bring home the bacon. Now, I'm not sure just who is actually a kingpin in this kind of conspiracy, but I'm going to continue on with the scenario that said kingpin (or groups of kingpins) is/are looking for. Imagine lawsuits, losing customers who don't even participate in lawsuits but have been scared out of patronizing certain establishments, and other considerations making one business after another close. More and more people get out of work. It's a domino-effect! People get angry and frustrated. This results in such things as "acting out" using crime sprees; scapegoating certain groups of people in the way that Jews were scapegoated in the time leading up to the Holocaust; and other negative/antisocial behavior. So, our country is in a big mess... Enter: a new leader or leadership group promising to make everything all right again! That would be a good thing except for some teensy-weensy details: (1) This leader/group doesn't really have the best interests of the nation in mind but, instead, is suckering people into an unsavory agenda. (2) This leader/group is actually responsible for things becoming as they've become to lead to this point-in-time. Think about all of this and draw your own conclusions...
