Has anyone else seen or tried this new energy drink? My hubby found it at a little corner store down the street from us. The guy there said it came out yesterday. It is a really pretty pink color and has a really neat bite to it. When you first take a sip, you get a burning sensation or tingle in the back of your throat. It has a slight stawberryish flavor. Maybe it's cherry, but I am leaning towards strawberry. Has anyone else seen or tried it? If som what did you think?

I haven't tried this nor would I. I did see a piece on the news about it.Its a 8.4 oz energy drink that has 280 milligrams of caffiene. Thats more then an expresso. They have admited that there is an ingredient added to cause the "throat-numbing" experience to emulate its namesake. They aren't willing to release the information as to what it is called.

It is their "secret" ingredient. Everybody has one. Even Dr Pepper won't release the 23 fruit flavors that it uses. I just thought it was funny when I first saw it. It was worth trying.

No I have not tried this drink but I have seen it in the shops, someone told me that it tastes similar to coca cola but I do not know how true this is, and I do not drink any of the drinks with sugar in them as I have sugar diabeties.

It tastes more strawberryish to me. It is a mix of sugar and sucralose. I thought it was ok tasting. We were curious so we tried it.

lol! i would be willing to try it just for the name! but what do you mean by "bite" to it? like ginger ale has a bite? any idea what causes the burning sensation? that would definatly put me off!

Like natural gingerale or jamaican gingerbeer has a bite to it. Not like schwepps or canada dry gingerale. Those are just too sweet. It was ok. Not something that I would buy regularly, but I would buy it if I really needed the caffenine burst.
