Are you SMART... or GLOBE?

Smart Telecommunications and Globe Telecom are the leading network in wireless service providing industry in the Philippines today. Smart claims of having 22.9 million subscribers nearly equivalent to 58 % market share. This means their are leading since the remaining percentage would be diveded to Globe, Sun Cellular and other providers. Well of course, on the other way, Globe claims that they lead. Who's your wireless provider? Who do you think lead? Smart or Globe?

I've been a Smart subscriber eversince the first day I had my own cellphone. Then eventually became a postpaid subscriber of Smart too. When unlimited text messaging from Suncellular became so rampant, I subscribed to their prepaid unlimited service. Due to lack of Suncell signals in some places in the country, I switched back to my original provider. When Smart started their unlimited services, I became Smart prepaid subsrciber all throughout the years. But when Globe paved the way, I bought a globe sim and decided to have SMart, GLobe and Suncell sims. So until now, I have been using the Smart postpaid for over 3 years then bought another Smart prepaid sim to avail of their unlimited messaging. THen sometimes, I shift to Globe and Suncell when I need to. :)

Suncellular offers rates much lower than its competitors. But there are deadspots here in Metro Manila. So I guess this is the one point they have to fix.

network provider - globe-smart-sun cellular
The first time I bought a mobile phone I used Smart Telecommunications as my network provider. For some reasons it took me 3-4 years before I shifted to Globe Telecom. Until now I'm using globe as my primary number but I sometimes use my smart number when I need to. I also have a sun cellular sim card before but I lost it already.

i've been a globe subscriber ever since, but that's only because we don't have signal for smart in our area (lol!). lately, i've been seriously considering shifting to sun cellular becuase they have this promo wherein you get to have 3 lines (with 3 phones) for just 999 php, and that's 24/7 free text and call (sun-to-sun)!

Yeah, sun celllular offer great deal and lower than its competitors. Corporate post paid plans are also lower i guess of 40 percent. I also tempted to switch but I found out that theres no signal in some area here in the metro. So I just stayed to my old Smart. :)

I am using Globe, kinda slowed down a little in texting coz of the higher rates. Might consider transferring to another carrier.

Well I think post paid offers of Globe Telecom are good to consider. You must check their corporate rates. :)

I have always been a globe subscriber! I'm loyal hehehe but i have tried sun cellular once and its a big disappointment for me because of the busy network, low signal and late messages specially at night. I never had problems with globe prepaid and postpaid. I don't care on who's leading what matters is their service.

Globe. Most of my classmates are using Globe. My org also have officialized globe as our SIM. This is done to make news and updates transfer faster and cheaper. There's also that status associated only with Globe.

I'm using Globe and most of my friends and relatives uses it. Smart load has expiration even if you don't uses it. And smart roaming services is limited to text only while globe roaming services you can use both text and call.

I used globe myself.... I used it when I got married and lost my smart cellphone and ever since I used it till now. Why? Well i loved my number and I just don't want to change it anymore since I have loads of friends that know this is where I could be contacted. With regards to the service it seemed that booth has their advantages and disadvantages.

I am a Smart pre-paid subscriber eversince. My wife have been a Smart subscriber so I am. I don't have any problem with Smart so far and I have not tried to look for other subscriber since I'm not a heavy user of the cellphone. I usually used it to communicate with my family and sometime at work. In the future if there is a change in my lifestyle I will look for better wireless provider. I just noticed that Globe and Sun cellular have been very actively campaigning and providing new incentives to there current and future suscriber. Regards.

I am actually using Sun Cellular since for me I get my money's worth. Of course, the signal is still lousy but when I weigh the advantages, I think Sun is the more practical choice. I only use other networks when I'm texting a person too much, that it'll be better if I took advantage of same network unlimited texting.

I don't really mind whether Smart's the leader or Globe's the leader. Either way, I use GLOBE telecom eversince. The service is good, the rates are good, and their promos are OK. Plus, the coverage is also good. Even if I'm near the end of the Philippines I still get high coverage.
