how do you haddle when you little one gets gruppy

first of all, how old is she? i have a 2 year old and when she starts whining and crying about things, i just talk to her in a normal tone telling her to calm down and use her words to tell me whats wrong she does very good expressing herself when i say this to her. if shes old enough to really understand then just talk to her, not like a baby and tell her to use her words trying to keep the whining and crying down, it does work very good! :)

how old is she? alot of times when my kids were little and they'd get grumpy they were tired or overtired (and hard to get to sleep) or hungry. There could be alot of other reasons she cries and gets grumpy....ear infections, they get grumpy a couple days before they get sick (kind of like an early warning) more details would be helpful. If you think it's something other than lack of food or sleep, you might want to get her to a Dr.

When my son get's grumpy I know it's because he is tired, or worse, overtired. I find the best way to offset it is to make sure he gets to bed on time.
