I use something from my dermatologist during the day, but I am in need of a really good night cream.
I need something for tight/flaking facial skin. Any good ones out there that I should know about?
I have tried the following:
*Clinique
*Sue Hershberger(my favorite, but it is too expensive at $80 a jar)
*L'Occitone(made me break out)
*Oil of Olay(made me break out)
*Neutrigina-awful for my skin
I am up for trying anything as long as it is not super expensive. My idea of expensive is $40 or more for a small 1oz jar.

Hi there - sounds like you have sensitive skin. Have you tried good old cocoa butter - man, it smells great and isn't expensive at all. Available from all pharmacies. There is also olive oil butter and shea butter, which is supposedly the best for your skin ... but I love the cocoa butter the best! Hope this helps, LOL

Hi there!
I do have sensitive skin, it's so touchy!LOL!
I haven't tried plain old cocoa butter but I will give it a shot, I think they have little tubes of it at CVS, that's the kind you're talking about right?

I used for many years Nivea cream. One year I met an African woman in Canada and she told me about shea butter. Women in Africa use it as a moisturizer for their hair and skin. They also use it for cooking! It is 100% natural. I have tried it on my face and I just loved it. It doesn't smell good of course but I don't mind. That's what I use most of the time at night only because it does make your face greasy.

Hey there VotreAmie!
I have tried shea butter(from L'Occitone) and I agree with you, that stuff works GREAT! Only problem is that it makes me break out so bad:(
I tried Nivea in the blue tin for the first time when I was in France believe it or not!
A girl I shared a room with at a hostel let me try it and it worked pretty good. I hadn't even thought of trying it again, I will give it a chance for sure!
Thank you:)

I'm a fan of the Avon ANEW range...I'm just checking the catalogue to see how much the night cream is....
The Ultimate Night Transforming Lift Crean is $50 for 50g..usually you can find it on ebay for a bit cheaper??
But yeah, I like the Avon range, plus they're not tested on animals which I think is a HUGE bonus.
