I know that everyone has skipped class at least once. There can't be such a person that didn't. I do it when I get bored or when I don't feel like been examined. When do you do it and why? Is it a habbit of yours?

I am in high school and truthfully, i skip classes fairly often. It gets a little more as i approach the end of term. I dont get into much trouble over it though, because i hardly ever skip two or three in a row, and its not like i have chosen a particular class to skip. I usually have a reason for skipping class though, sometimes me and my mates go out from photography to take photos, and dont come back till the end of next period. I skipped before to do some work for a different subject as me and my mates can always find a computer room. The last time i skipped class was to go down and get my face painted in the library lol. It took soo long to actually get it done past the line (the people that were in the facepainters class got to go first), that it wasnt until two periods later that both me and my friend actually got it done. I have skipped before just to go chat randomly and socially to our School Chaplain and to do things for the computer teacher. I have only once really ever wagged class as such, because all the other times, i was at least in a classroom. Me and my mate didnt want to go to sport so we hid down behind the ampitheatre. Wow looking at what ive just written, makes me look like a regular skipper lol

It's not my habit skipping classes. But I remember one time I did it. Well, our group did it. It was recess time. We knew that the next subject will be boring. So instead of attending the next class, we stayed in the canteen and ate finger foods. Then one of our classmate felt guilty and decided to attend the glass. Of course, the whole group changed mind and went to the classroom. The teacher was so furios when we arrived and did not allow us to enter the classroom.

I do it because I simply don't want to go to class. I sometimes have other things that I have to do, but most of the time I just don't feel like going to class. being in college makes it hard to motivate yourself when no one makes you go.

The only time I skipped class when I was at school was when I was ill and couldn't make it in. Even if I was bored, I'd try and get whatever I could out of the lessons, and if I felt I wasn't being stretched enough then I occasionally would go and ask the teacher if they could suggest something else for me to look at. My education wasn't just the ersponsibility of the school - it was also MY resonsibility to get the best out of my time at school that I possibly could.
