It's a banal question, but looking at reality, it's not always true. Perhaps because of a lot of reasons. Money, religion, social status...could be anything. But I still would like to believe that all in love is fair, but for other people, the surrounding cicumstances makes it impossible. What about your thoughts?

I wouldn't know about love, but I'm sure nothing in LIFE is fair. Including love. So many people had to suffer because of their feelings, beliefs and choices in life. Love has had its fair share of injustice. It's just that love is a feeling and not a physically tangible thing like money or the body. How can you turn off a feeling? You can't. It's your destiny to live along with it. You can't even choose who you're allowed to love. It makes all your decisions for you. All in love is fair? No.. Nothing in love is fair.

I completely understand you. I've been in a situation where I was discriminated because my significant other belonged to an elite family and I was not. Thanks for the response. :)

I always took the phrase to mean "no holds barred". It is not really fair, the saying just highlights the fact that in such emotionally charged activities as love and war, someone is going to be treated unfairly sometime. Period. Draven the Respectful Atheist http://dravenwriter.blogspot.com
