What's your favorite text emoticon style? the ones where you have to tilt your head to get them (like this :o) ) or the Japanese style ones (like this ^-^ )? Do you have a favorite emoticon that you keep using, perhaps in excess? I tend to use :) a lot. It's a habit I got from using yahoo messenger (all instant messaging programs know that combination). I like using it because I tend to smile a lot and I was this to be obvious in my written messages too :P I just feel like adding a smile here and there. However, even if I don't use them, I am in love with Japanese emoticons, I find them way cuter. :) How about you?

I guess the one emoticon I use the most would have to be my own version of the smiley, like so: :o) Closely followed with the wink ;o) Another one I use quite often is a Japanese-style kitty: =^..^= And then there's the fish: And the rose: @};--

I use ^_^ alot, even here in myLot. i think most of my posts have this emoticon. Right now, I use mostly Japanese emoticons. i didn't know that these emoticons are associated with Japanese only. perhaps because i frequent Japanese forums and communities a lot. hehe. XD (there, another emoticon!) But if i get really happy and excited, i use this: ^____________^ LOL!

LOL indeed :) I didn't know about the ^________^ one but I find it quite funny (sort of like a squeeeeeeeee :P). I also like the XD one, I've seen it before but I didn't remember it until now :) (I used to have a list with Japanese emoticons so I met the majority of them at least one but most have slipped my mind given that I don't get to use them much) :)
