Why Should We chain Live Creature.(Pets)

I don't think they should be, I hate to hear of animals being treated cruely and this is cruel, animals only ask for 2 things really, a little food a nd a lot of love, chaining them up is cruel...

I know what you mean. One of my best friends has a dog which she loves but never brings inside. She is left chained in the back garden because she has never been properly taimed, she's a guard dog you see. I don't really believe in having animals as guards for your house, they should be pets or nothing. It's not fair for them to have such a confined life. This dogs only walk is around it's own garden.
