how do you know that a simple lump is already a tumor?

its pretty alarming really, that you just feel a simple lump from some parts of your body and then, the doctor will tell you later that its a tumor.

An abnormal growth of tissue resulting from uncontrolled,progressive multiplication of cells and serving no physillogical function is termed as tumer. Doctors divide the tumers in to brnign and malignant based on microscopic examinations. If the tumer is benign, the growth is slow and is harmless. Generally such growth can be easily cured and can bepermanently removed. But if malignant the growhth is faster and spreadsthrough out the body. It recur if removed.
