The Law of Attraction?

Last week, I was watching one of the Zorro movies I hadn't seen in a while. In this version, Zorro's first wife was named Esperanza. I thought to myself that I would like to meet a woman named Esperanza. I think it is a nice name. I thought about this several times as the name kept popping into my head over the next few days.
I have never known anyone by that name. It is not common in these parts of the US (Michigan). However, I just got an email from a dating site from a woman named Esperanza. She even lives within 50 miles of me. Coincidence? Not for me. I do believe in the laws of attraction. I think this is truly amazing. How many of you know an Esperanza? Have you had a similar experience?

Reading this question just triggered the theme song from "Twilight Zone" in my head. Hopefully, it won't replay all day.
I have only known of one Esperanza. And, I only encountered her online. So, I'm not sure if that counts, or if that was even her real name. But, you're right. It is not a common name. So, I suspect you're wise to make a mental note of this ... coincidence, or perhaps more.
I tend to believe that everything happens for a reason. Perhaps all these little coincidences are in fact, acts of destiny. Or perhaps they are examples of the 'Laws of manifestation'. In which case, I will caution to be careful what you ask for. In either case, such incidences have always brought me lessons to be learned, and opportunities for personal growth. Although not always easy lessons or opportunities, valuable nonetheless.
I have a MyLot friend who is rather fond of applying his favorite quote which is: Intention = Results. I personally have no doubt that yours is such an example.
So, good luck with this manifested connection. Hopefully it will bring you inspired results and great happiness!

The twilight zone has always been one of my favorites. Funny you should mention that show. I like that wording Intention=Results, except that often it takes some kind of pronounced action toward getting those results for them to manifest into your life. Thanks, and wishing you good fortune.

Blimey .. seems like the fickle hand of fate is throwing you a gift for once .. I think for your sanity you'll need to meet with Esperanza or you will forever wonder wether she may have been your Ms Right ...
I have never even heard of the name Esperanza .. but then Mexico is a long way from here .. heheh !!!

Yes it is amazing and it sounds like a fairy tale. I knew a girl who has the same first name as myself (feminine version of course) and we knew each other better, we noticed that there are many coincidences when it comes to our respective lives. We almost live on the same street, she was born just one day before one of my sisters (not the same year though), we share many personality traits...Unfortunately, our relationship did not really pick up.
