i would like to know what browsers mylotters use when surfing the net. why do you use the browser that you currently use? what features do you like about it? does it really make a big difference to use one browser over another? i use firefox because of its tabbing features and shortcuts such as ctrl+l to get to the url bar and ctrl+k to make a google search. i used to use internet explorer but it doesnt have tabs so i have multiple windows open when i surf and i'd rather them to be in just one window. what are your thoughts?

Hi, I am currently using opera as my main browser. It is much safer when compared to other browsers. I like the overall speed performance of it. It has fast execution especially when returning back from previously visited pages. It has widgets like the add-ons of mozilla. Overall, I am so impressed and grateful with my opera browser. However, I also used mozilla and IE for sometime. Have a nice day and God speed!

I've tried a few different ones and I always go back to Internet Explorer. It just seems to work the best for me. I love the tabs that they have now with it. I like how I can organize my favorites, something some of the other browsers didn't allow. I like how I can customize what elements are up on my browser so I don't have buttons there I don't need. I can also add in tool bars if I want. Mozilla/Firfox wasn't bad and it comes in a close second to me. Same with MSN's browser. The only one I really hated was aol's. That one is a royal pain. When I had aol I'd minimize it and still use IE. Their browser is for the birds.

I use two browsers Internet Explorer and Firefox.I mostly use Firefox because its fast than Internet Explore and i have heard that its more secure. One more reason to use Firefox is that it allsows us to open multiple tabs under a single window.

I have used opera for over 5 years, and recommend it highly. First, since it has been around for so long it is mature, and has the major bugs all worked out. Second, Opera is a successful company with a large stake in their browser. Though it does not have a large market share on computers, it is very successful on mobiles, so Opera has the need, the budget, and the facilities to maintain it and improve it. It has been very innovative - many features that are now in other browsers first appeared in Opera (for example, tabs). It is small and fast, and probably the most standards-compliant. I also like the Opera mail client, which uses a slightly non-standard database approach rather than the more common (but less flexible) folder approach most use. I have tried firefox and it seems good as well, but not good enough to make me want to switch. If it were possible to run windows without IE I would remove it, as it is I just have my firewall set to block it so no ones uses it to infext my computer.
