Best female album

What is your favorite album to come from a female artist in awhile?
I like Nelly Furtado's Loose. I always like listening to that album.

Most people will not know the artist, let alone the album, but my favorite album by a female artist is "Brilliant Midnight" by Caroline Lavelle. When I discovered it, it was all but the soundtrack of how I felt about my life at that time. Since Caroline wrote and produced just about every song on the CD, it is safe to say she just about read my mind.
