Do you have a hard time finding purses that you like? Do you buy a lot of purses or do you just buy a few here and there? I have a hard time finding purses I like. I am not much caring for the one I have right now and have been looking for a new the past few months. In February at Spencers Gifts I found a pink playboy bunny purse that I LOVED, but it was $30 and to me that was a lot of money for a purse (though I know a lot of women pay a lot more then that for purses). So I just couldn't let myself buy it. But now everything I see I am picturing that purse and I want that purse. So I might have to break down and just go buy that purse soon. I so loved it!! They don't have the pink one online at Spencers Gifts, they have the black one, but not the pink one. Which is the one I really wanted.

I am not really a purse guy so to say. I hever have actually even had a purse, and I must say that I am glad that I never have had to get one. There are so many of them, how do you decide which one is the best for you? There are so many different colors, styles... there are ones with zippers, ones with pockets, and pockets with zippers... are you kidding me? The possibilities are endless. And now you are telling me that there are purses that have the playboy bunny on it. Good greif. How could you possibly decide?!? Personally if I was you I would just stick with a wallet... much easier! LOL

Nope, a wallet does not hold a pen, keys, lip gloss, chap stick, cell phone, a lollipop for the days that we are taking too long and my son is getting restless, finger nail clippers, safety pins, and change. LOL Nope. I need a purse. And hey Medooley, I bet if you carried a purse, you would find a lot more that you could carry for just in case. Like a hand held game for those days you are waiting too long. LOL Great to see you back medooley! We've missed ya! :)

The key to knowing if you should buy it even though it is a little more than what you would want to spend, is by answering this question. If you walked out of the store and came back a couple days later to find out that they no longer carried the item....would you regret it? There are times that I have to ask myself that. Even though I am not much of a multi purse person....I do take my purse that I DO have everywhere. It is my pocket that I carry on my shoulder. :) But like you, I have a very hard time picking/finding a purse that I like. So, I only have one. And will have this one until it is worn out and just does not look happy anymore. ha ha My last new purse I had was given to me from my sister in West Palm as a gift. It was a Nine West purse. Of course, I had no clue who Nine West was. LOL And my sister got upset at me. I had that one purse for a good 3 years. And last year, I had to buy a new purse. LOL Just don't tell my sister that I bought it at Target. ha ha And BTW....it also took me a few months to find the right purse too. :)

That is what I think, and my mom taught me. If you walk away, and think about it later...would you regret not getting it. If so, you should buy it. But, if you are always regretting not getting something...that may not be the best philosophy. I did not know that it is that hard just to pick out a purse. Maybe because I have never had one! LOL :)

I am not one to carry around a purse. I really don't feel like I need to. Yeah, you can carry around things like chap stick, lip gloss, finger nail clippers, cell phone, recipes, bandages, and of course change. But, I really don't need all of those things. I could just put on, or do anything when I get home. However, other things that I might need like change, money, or cellphone....I could just carry them in my pocket. Maybe as I get older I will have a purse...but hopefully I will not be one of those people that has a purse full of bricks!! LOL :) If you really want that purse, and are regretting not getting it...that means that you should get the purse! :)

Go buy the darn purse. I said so.lol. I have learned that life is too short and you should do things that make you happy while you still can. I'm guessing that you are like me and don't like to spend money on yourself, right? Back to the original question, I am not a purse person but I used to be. I always had a hard time finding the purse I wanted. My favorite one was one made out of denim and it was made to look like a pair of jeans. It was really cute.

I never used to be a purse person either, but I find I am liking them more and more. Well...maybe not since I always have a hard time finding one, probably means I am pretty picky. lol Yes and no on spending things for myself. I have no problem usually if its under $20 or right around there. But once it gets a bit higher I hold off. If its still there next time I get to Spencer Gifts, I'll probably buy it. Gosh darn its cute. lol

I need a new purse. The one I have right now is nice, I like it because it has Eeyore on it, but it's falling apart. It didn't hold up very well. It also only has the one big section in it with the little change zipper area. I like one with more sections it for holding everything along with a long strap so I can put it over my shoulder or even around my neck and shoulder for safety. The problem comes in I go and look at purses at the store if I find one I like I hate the price for it. I can't believe some of the prices they want for a basic purse that probably won't last a year. I used to buy just clearence purses at Wal-Mart or K-Mart and they would last me forever but now they even the expensive ones fall a part withine a few months. So I keep a look out for one I like that is hopefully on sale or clearence so I can afford it.

I think they are all getting cheaply made anymore period no matter where you buy them or who from. I usually buy my purses from Wal-Mart or Target or the like...but like I said...I am just not finding what I want. Probably cause I have that one purse in mind.

I am a purse addict! I LOVE purses! But, to answer your question...yes, I have a hard time finding exactly what I like. I seem to have another new purse every single month, practically. LOL I just love them. It drives my husband crazy. :)

my husband gets annoyed at me at the few times I look for purses. He thinks I buy too many. lol But really I hardly ever find any that I like to buy them. So he's just nuts lol

Now I have a problem because I'm not sure if you're talking about handbags (because I know they're often called purses in the US) or what we in the UK would call a purse - you know, the thing that holds your money. Anyway I'll just answer for both! Unfortunately I never have a hard time finding handbags that I like. Quite the opposite - I see too many that I like and then have to buy them! As far as purses go I have a wallet that I've had for ages and ages. I don't very often buy new ones although this one is beginning to look quite tatty now.

I am a pocketbook fanatic. The best place I have found to feed my need to buy more is at the Goodwill store. I can find them usually for about $3.50 each. My husband says I have too many and he is so wrong. Have you tried looking online for the purse? I have found quite a few bargains online. YOu never know.

I tend to never spend money on myself. I can almost always find purses I LOVE at this store called Gabriel Bros. that has seconds or buys lots of discontinued items, etc. You get them at a fraction of the cost too! While I love purses, I generally end up buying them for my 2 girls before myself. I have about 4 purses to my name! lol At Gabes we get big brand name purses for under $30, easily. Most are about $10-$15 each!!!! My big issue and problem area is shoes. I can never find shoes that are comfortable and look good. I just can never seem to find shoes that are "me". My youngest daughter is a shoe freak though. And oddly enough I can always find shoes for her!!! I find them on clearance all the time and just recently got her a pair at JC Penney's for $3!!!! They were heels and originally $79 shoes! Nothing wrong with them, just discontinued and the last pair they had and just so happened to be in her size! I was thrilled!

My biggest problem with finding a purse is finding one that is the right size. I had a green canvas purse that I really loved, but it was too small for a mom of three. So I decided to upgrade to a bigger purse and was in a hurry and just grabbed one in my price range (under $20). Turns out that I didn't buy a purse, but a large bag that I now call my suitcase! Well, it really is a purse, but I think my one year old could fit in it! I paid for it and I can't bring myself to buying another new one ... but city wide garage sales are coming up so maybe I'll find one there!

I am horrible on purses. I only want designer name brand purses, hence very expensive, so I don't have a lot of purses, I like the quality and workmanship of the purses, but then they never have the pocketspace I like in them, so most of the time I don't even carry a purse, either it is too big or it doesn't hold everything of mine.

I usually buy one purse at a time. I will keep it for quite some long time. If some model attracts me, i use to buy it. I like black color purses.

I don't normally buy purses but every once in awhile when I am shopping for something else I will see one that screams out, "Buy me, you fool, or you will regret it later!" Normally, I give in and buy the purse, unless the price is something I consider to be ridiculous.

Um, I would LOVE to save up and buy a $300 bag. I'm a student, so it'd be tough, but I'd love to have an amazing, expensive, high quality bag. I kinda get sick of buying heaps of cheap quality bags just because they're cute, and then they fall apart or whatever. I did buy one in New York for $30 at Virgin Megastore that I like though, and someone liked the metallic design so much that they asked me if they could take a photo of it and get it as a tattoo, so that was cool.

I don't really like purses until I get used to them, so it makes it hard to buy purses because I'm never certain if I'll like them. I had a friend in high school who loved buying purses, so I used to just take her old ones.

I am pretty picky with mine too. I only like certain kinds and the strap has to be just right and there has to be a certain amount of room lol.

No I do not have a hard time finding purses that I like there are just too many of them, no I do not buy a lot any more but I used to. Yes $30 is a lot for a purse even though I paid a bit more for my main purse as it is pure leather, and I have a lot of my main cards and everything else inside it but when I go out I also have a small purse that I can put my other items in it as my daughter bought this for me. Well I do hope that you buy the purse that you really want.

I don't use purses lol. I hate them. I carry very little around with me to start with and I figure that if I don't carry a purse, I have less chance of being mugged. And yes, I'm aware of how paranoid that makes me sound LOL. I guess I'm just not a purse kind of person. I see some people carrying these huge great things around with them and it makes me laugh. I mean, what do you really need a purse that big for? I carry my keys, my cell phone and my debit card. That's it!

I am pretty picky about my purses. Since becoming a mommy it has gotten worse. There is just so much to consider now with things I might need to have handy. I have probably spent way too much money on purses over the years. I do like a nice quality one every now and then. I hate it when a purse looks old and worn after only a month of carrying it. It is not just purses with me. I can be a bit of a bag lady. I seem to always be looking at bags of all types in the stores and looking for that perfect one.
