My cousins are messed up!

Last night my cousins ended up in a big fight,and the wife got heer nose busted my her daughter and all the husband tried to do was stop the wife from punching the younger daughter in the face.He went to jail.For assult 4th degree.How silly is that,the wife was drunk!And then the layou have your kids here tonight they will be took from you for good.And now the hubby is out of jail and the family is right back together.I think it is all messed up!But I don't want involved but I always end up with the child that is the one going to be hit on, cause she runs to my house for cover.To be safe.And I end up hearing everything.And draged into it some shape of form.I have emailed the childs school counsilers about the home problem,saying social services need to be involved but nothing yet.The counsilers just ask her alot of questions and say things are good at your home,go back to your class.How can they help her when they wont really listen?
