Queer as Folk - do you think it portrays gay life realistically?

I loved the TV show Queer as Folk, especially as I used to go to Canal Street in Manchester and knew people who were just like some of the characters. Do you think it was a realistic portrayal of gay lifestyles today?

I think it portrayed a certain section of the gay community accurately. It was a groundbreaking series in that respect.
