I gave her flowers. She said, "Thanks for the vegetables!"

I really don't know what to do. My significant other just said that. What does it mean? Is she giving the signs of ending a relationship?

i have absolutely no idea what that would mean? what kind of flowers did you give her. maybe they really were vegetables. not that i know what kind of flower is considered a vegetable. did you ask her what she meant by this?

If roses are vegetables, thats's acceptable. I did asked her, but there are no more replies from her.

She could be joking, if she's a novice speaker of your mother tongue she might be in a tongue twist and said 'vegetables' instead in which you intepret in that way, she might be judging on the type and quality of flowers you gave her and she expected more or you might be right about she's trying to leave (albeit its hard to imagine a girl parting in such a way). One guy had post to you to ask her if you're in doubt. I suggest the same too. All the best to you man.

I'm interesting about what kind of flowers you send to her. Ugly? I don't think it is a sign about ending a relationship.
