curious about clothing

So I had this really random thought today when i was cleaning out my cats' litter box. I knelt down in front of it and I noticed that whenever I do that my jeans always come down below my underwear. I got to thinking about how clothing companies are continuing to make pants lower and lower... as if showing off one's crotch is attractive... Which brings me to my question. Why is it that the lower pants get the more underwear can be seen? Showing off your underwear is really not attractive so why arent companies making lower rising underwear? I know there are all those thongs in existance but that is about like not wearing any at all so what about some options? Maybe I'm entirely nuts but I just thought of that so i figured I'd share.

Yes, thanks for sharing that!! lol... the occurance is not unique to yourself though! I believe it has something to do with the material not being able to stretch like human joints and skin!! Especilly denim!! hahaha

Well I hoped someone would get some sort of amusement out of my random though. Clearly I have succeeded on my little mission. When it comes to clothing companies anymore I really think it has gotten into a competition of who can make the most outfits with the least amount of fabric. pants are getting tighter and lower, shorts are turning into underwear and underwear are almost non existent. except for like the girl briefs that seem to get lower in the front and higher in the back(thus making them prone to stick out). I know it sounds like im complaining and I suppose I kind of am. Naturally the solution would be to simply make my own clothes right cuz at least then I'd know they fit of course then i run into the issue of my incredible lack of knowledge as to how to use that sewing machine thing. It might help if mom took the one she spent $400 on out of the box. lol
