Know of any stories like the woman in the Elvis movie who became a real nun?

Dolores Hart was her name. She was in a movie that starred Elvis, but left Hollywood to become a nun. Funny thing is that she still has her SAG card, so she still votes in those awards!
Have you heard of any story like that? Someone achieved great fame only to leave it behind and do something else?

wow! what a great bit of trivia. Do you know what movie she was in? I would love to see her. I have such curiosity about things like this. I love trivia. I don't know any right now, but I will definately be checking back on this discussion to find some more. :)

I hope some more people have additional stories.
Dolores Hart had a supporting role in the 1957 Elvis movie, Loving You. She was also in his 1958 film King Creole. She played 'Nellie' in King Creole and 'Susan' in Loving You. I got the exact information about her films with Elvis on www.wikipedia.com. I've also seen her do interviews with Entertainment Tonight, so I bet there are some archives of her speaking to them on the internet.
