Auctions.....

I heard someone did a great amount of cash selling a laptop that was shot with a shotgun. People sell crazy things in eBay. But there are always people buying those things. There are people with money that don't know what to do with it.

I don't remember how much it sold for but a year or so ago on an online auction I saw the funnist thing ever to be auctioned, and it was a blue paperclip, it even made the tv news. I think it was somebody trying the same thing as I think an American who sold a paper clip and brought something else which he then sold, and on it went until he had a house.

I don't hear much about auctions, so I really don't know what I could say. I do know celebrities auction their clothes, shoes, and all their personal possessions. So I guess they could auction quite a few things.

Yes apparantly snow and leaves are often auctioned. I actually read a thread on here about it! Apparantly some states in america don't ever get snow or the multi coloured leaves in fall. So people are willing to pay for them so that their kids can experience it. Apparantly it's cheaper and easier than travelling. I have seen some really wierd things on ebay; very old stinky trainers and a pair of used knickers are ones that spring to mind. It's quite disturbing what some people will try to sell to make a few extra quid.
