More Indians in myLot

The myLot records shows that out of total 85,629 of myLot population 22665 are from India. There is 21436 mylott members in the USA and there are only 1915 Pakistanis. Do you have any idea why more Indians join myLot??
Is it because of the population? Nop. China, the largest populated country, has only 2034 members..
Then what could be the reason??

this is an interesting research sreevasu, i really appreciate. there could be several reasons.
1. populous countries like india, china have a priority with respect to the ratio.
2. more and more ppl are getting aware, getting used to easy, cheap internet services and i feel, anything new and fresh has a mass demand.
3. with more and more outsourcing, india, is getting smarter and internet is just at their fingertips. not to mention most of the jobs are done through world wide web and intranet.
these days, private offices, small or big, have so many incentives to offer even for the ordinary employees and internet facility is just one of those.

it's great to hear that you are a graphic designer. i have a kind of awe for them.
secondly, i could relate to the next part of your comment. i can access internet from office and at home it's cheaper and fast now with broad band facility. most of my friends enjoy free internet service in office and at home aswell.

Thank you Mimpi dear for your sensible response. I do agree with you in the points you put forward, especially the 2nd one. It tempted me to look on to myself as to why I joined myLot.
For my daily bread, being a graphic designer, I work with computer. I have a 24 hour cable connection too for which I need to pay less than 1000 INR per month. I have email contacts for more than 15 years. When I took my internet connection first I had a dial-up connection and I paid 15,000 INR for 500 hours + the huge telephone bills. On comparison, it is too cheap now.
When our facilities get enhanced we naturally go for newer and newer possibilities and we will expand our arena as well.

I think that in the US a lot of us are wary about internet sites that pay. There are many scams out there and people see the links and figure it is just one more. I almost didn't join for that same reason, but a friend of mine told me about the forum and allowed me to check it out before joining. I liked the forum and was already on another question/answer forum that did not pay, so I enjoyed the activity. When I saw that it was free and I didn't have to give my bank account # etc, I decided to join. I really would not be able to tell you why there are more Indians than others, as I am not privy to the thought process everyone has before joining.

Thank you Mish for responding. I like the way you responded. Instead of saying some blah blah about something which you have no idea, you specifically wrote your reasons for joining myLot. And I am sure that your response can be considered as a 'general' Americal view. Thanks again dear.

I expect this may be due to some advanced thinking. I think when people (teen ager's) from other countires use internet more for time pass, bt may be Indians wan t earn some extra money with Internet.& more over(don't consider pakistan & China) just US & Uk lie countires. To post 500 responces a person minimum needs atleast 1 day .They can earn more than $10 whatmay be the result of 500 post here.But for indians $1 =to 450 India Rupee for that they have to do some work.That also may be a factor.

thats right not only in mylot in most of internet marketing and earning sites indians r dominating than pakistanies......may be indians r more active n working hard than pakistanies in this??
