I have swam in Majayjay, Laguna. It is really very relaxing to swim in falls. I like hiking to get near the falls, then camping, and finally the swimming. And it is ok to drink water from falls because it is clean, unlike the water in swimming pools. But as I am not a very good swimmer, I prefer swimming in pools. Lol! :)

Swimming on a falls is nice... I tried twice, one in Bato resort in san pablo and the other one in Majayjay falls... the water is very very cold...relaxing especially on a hot summer... Swimming pool is okay especially if it is private and not overcrowded... I would still love to swim on a falls.... where else can i find falls here, just near manila..thnx!

The nearest would be Daranak Falls in Tanay Rizal. a 2 hour drive away from manila. if you prefer to have your own spot go to Batlag falls its located on top of Daranak.

YEAH... let's go for the all natural and clean falls. my tip to you guys don't go swimming on falls during the rainy season. for sure you will have a bad day when you see the rapid waters in brown tone. hahahha lol.

Falls have cold water than pools when i visited my husband's province samar leyte. That's one thing i love more to swim on falls rather than pool. And you can see the greens that surrounds you it's like youre in a paradise. I'm just glad to swim to falls it's an experience that i could'nt forget in my life.

i have tried different swimming pools in my lifetime. and i can say that nothing beats mother nature. a freshwater spring, if one clean enough still exists, can beat any chlorinated swimming pool, in my opinion. i have been to a falls only once, during an excursion to Pagudpud. Pagudpud is not yet too commercialized and yet, the place is beautiful. We went to one of the falls there and the trail to reach it was very difficult and dangerous. There were ravines and slippery slopes. Yet, seeing the majestic falls is rewarding. The water is cold and clear that you can see even your toenails clearly. When we swam there, i could almost feel i can spend a lifetime there.

it really refreshes your body (and mind) when you swim in the falls. i remember when we had a field trip in iligan city, we went to a nearby falls (somewhere in linamon distric. you may be thinking of the maria cristina falls, but it's not, perhaps one of its outlets).the water was so soothing and clear as crytals. i really wanted to go back there.

the falls, definitely! it's closer to nature, and i couldn't stand the smell of chlorine! you're right, it's more relaxing, too, to swim in the waterfalls.

That sounds good.... It's been a long time since i had the chance swimming in river with falls. It is so difficult to find clean rivers with falls nowadays. That's why I usually prefer the pool because of its cleanliness. But if given the chance I would also prefer your choice since it's true that you'll feel relax when I am with nature.

I prefer swimming in a pool. I can actually SEE what's below me. I don't like swimming in rivers or lakes or anything like that. It's just too dangerous for me.
