If you are expert enough in writing a great deal like this then you can make out 10$ just in 200 points ratings and in general for normal writing skill this should lie between 300 to 350 ratings, the points in the braces. To be precise this earning and rating is not related directlt but to thw work you input which is worth to raed and informative. basically the earnings algorithm is complex in nature and is an all time secret thing in mylot so I see no point in discussing this issue. It depends on the quality of your posts. I've tried a couple of times to post 5 responds a day, averagely the same quality (content & length). In average for each 5 posts I earned $0.1. So to get to $10 I guess you have to wrote at least 500 posts. But again it really depends on the quality of your posts. I'm not very active in mylot and just using it as a hobby and a way to improve my writing and to not forget my English (because I'm living in a French speaking country now). I normally spend 15-20 minutes a day in mylot if not too busy with work, but most of times I only write during weekends.

it depends on your rate per post right now as well as how much you upload images and your earnings from active referrals. you can rely on posts alone or combine 2 or 3 of them to work better for you. in my experience, i reached $10.59 when i had 270 posts. that's from postings alone. i don't make much yet from uploading images and referrals. so, you can actually compute it like this: if you earn 2 cents per posts, you need 500 posts to achieve $10 from posts alone. if you earn more from each quality post, you can achieve it at a lesser number of posts. if you add an image for every discussion you start, you earn an additional cent per image uploaded. you can also earn 25% of your referrals earnings. goodluck. hope this helps. :)
