Murphy's Oil Soap Gel

When I was in Scouts, we had Murphys Oil Soap in a gel, which we rubbed on the outside of Campfire pots to keep them from scorching. I want to do the same with my Turkey Fryer Pot, but I cannot find the gel in any stores. Does anyone know where I can find the gel? NY Fryer

Are you sure the liquid soap will not work? I don't ever recall there being a gel soap.

I don't know what a fryer pot is. Does it plug into an outlet?
