Editing my novel has been a very slow process with a lot of procrastination. My husband has been on my case about getting a job/bringing money in as he cannot support our family alone. I want my job to be writing but editing is boring, especially when you are on the fifth edit. What I did was I got a friend to do a mock-up of the cover of my current novel. That way I could visualize the book having already been produced. I pinned this up over my desk and it spurred me on to finish the job - which I did. I think my illness has, to some extent, caused me to a be a bit lazy - or perhaps it's the distraction of the internet. I want to make money online so I spend my time online instead of getting the big job done (that includes making dinner for my family - sad, but true). I am a member of a writers' group and I never miss a meeting or get-together so that I do get SOME writing done at least those couple of hours a week.

Funny you ask, I do...When I feel less the motivated to get something done, I just remind myself in my head "Must be perfect" I know, strange, but it helps me.
