Cola and other carbonated drink, have always seemed weird to me. all those bubbles runing in your tongue. Why do people enjoy that? Do you enjoy it? i tried it alote of times, most of the people i know are carbonated drinks lovers, but still, those bubbles seem to strange to me, and they also ruin my teeth. can you give me one logic reason that you like those bubbles? and which one do you like the best? soft drinks? soda ice cream? soda bread. do share this with me.

I hate the taste of coke and pepsi, and all those chemicals you are literally drinking can't be good for you, carbonated drinks attack your teeth, and the amount of sugar that goes into both coke and pepsi. You only have to put a coin into a cup of coke to see what it does, this is the acid that attacks and eats away at your enamel, horrid stuff! I prefer to drink orange juice, water or milk to be honest.

hey on mythbusters they said that coke doesnt rot teeth. they said it was a myth but they only tried soaking the teeth in coke for 1 day so that might not completely dispel the rumor

I like them lots and I seriously have reasons to believe that they are good in relieving our thirst to a good extent than other norma drinks...May be that carbonated water produces kind of effervescence that will make you feel for a long time that you have drank something...

I don't like soft drinks or any other sugar-packed drinks. I rather have plain water, or tea or coffee. Healthy alternatives. :P

I like sodas, softdrinks, floats. Any of them. I don't like the taste of rootbeer sodas. And my favorite is sprite and the likes. But it has to be icy cold. When you drink a carbonated drink without the ice. I must admit I agree with you. The bubbles come in weird. And it taste harsh. So I like sodas, but I don't love them. I'm not that all over them. Only when they have plenty of ice in it. Have a nice day Liranlgo!(^^,)

My digestive system is brutally intolerant towards carbonated drinks. So having them is somewhat a luxurious indulgence I enjoy once in a while when I am brave enough to face the consequences afterwards. One too many drinks will definitely results in vomiting and extreme migraine. If I have to choose, I would go for iced coca-cola. It seems like less sweetened compared to any other soft carbonated drinks and it is definitely rich in its cola taste:)

No, I really don't care for soda and other carbonated bubble drinks. I do too feel it's weird to have that feeling in my mouth, and I only drink soda when there is nothing else. I love just plain spring water, and sweet tea is okay too, as it goes down smooth. I have never understood the soda thing either. It just makes my tummy feel really full and gassy.

soda drink - soda drink in a glass
Im glad that my parents didn't let me drink lots of soda.As a matter of fact, teenage girls who drink too much soda have an increased risk of developing osteoporosis and broken bones. The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) has stated that three cans of soda/day poses a serious risk for teenage boys. Males in the 12-29 age range are the largest group of soda drinkers. Health risks from over consumption include diabetes, kidney stones, obesity, osteoporosis, and tooth destruction. we have to whatchout our self for what we have for consuming other wise..

Im pretty much addicted to carbonated drinks and love them. I think its the sugar in them that Im addicted to rather than the bubbles although I do like the bubbles but cannot explain why. I have tried to cut down on the carbonated drinks and stick to bottled water instead and even this is carbonated but at least it is not full of sugar or artifical sweetners. I do not drink tea, coffee or other hot drinks so maybe this is part of my reason for loving carbonated drinks.

It does seem like the reason for your love to carbonated drinks. but a habit is hard to change, but you can change it, maybe you are not used to other drinks. start slowly dreanking juice and green tea and maybe you will get used to it.

Back then when I was still healthy, that is, I didn't know I was already a diabetic, I used to consume a liter or more of Coke a day. I must admit I enjoyed drinking it, specially during lunch. The heat in Manila certainly added to having too much thirst the whole day. However, as soon as I knew I had diabetes, I immediately stopped consuming carbonated drinks and now even my family seldom consume it. Now we prefer juicing fresh fruits instead.

Definitely non carbonated for me. I never really like them too much and as I grew older I liked them even less. Like you, I have a bit of problem with the bubbles and they don't allow me to taste what I'm drinking, which can be the purpose LOL I usually choose water to drink, rather than any soft drink. WHen I'm at home I make fruit juices and I enjoy those, but I don't like the ones we buy because they often have too much acid for my taste. There is only one exception: a soft drink called sumol that we have back home. It doesn't have many bubbles and I like the pineapple one only.

I use to be a fan of those until I became conscious about my health. Now I only drink natural fruit juices. Apple juice & cranberry juice is the only beverage I drink now. Or sometimes lemon iced tea.

I don't know this will shock you or not. I almost drink all 12 cans in a pack for a weekend. I probably do that every weekend. I know it's not healthy but I love soda drinks.

I like Diet Coke/Pepsi a lot, but usually, I'm not a big fan of carbonated drinks. At fast food restaurants and stuff, you're not really given much of a choice, since they are ALL sodas, but at a supermarket, I would never buy soda. I'm kind of addicted to fruit juice, though. Especially apple juice! I should really drink more water, but it's difficult! :(

When I was a teenager I use to drink soda all the time and not even give a second thought to it. But now I prefer softer beverages like juice or ice tea. I'm not sure if it's just my taste has changed or if it's something that's actually physical, because now when I try to drink soda, it is so strong untill it actually hurts going down.
