What do you think of metrosexuals?

I think that it is good that men are starting to look at themselves in the mirror. As time goes on it is becomming more important for men to create a positive masculine image of themselves. I do have to say though as a gay man, sometimes it messes with my gaydar. LOL

I have a husband who is more conscious of his appearance than me. He read a book written by Dr. Perricone and takes multivitamin and cod liver oil everyday per his recommendation. He uses several facial moisturizers, body lotions and hair oils . He is also very particular with the brands he uses. He recently spent a few thousand dollars to have hair grafted to his receding hairline and a scar in his eyebrow. Some of my girlfriends think that it was vanity. I think it's alright if it makes him feel better about himself and he doesn't neglect his responsibilities. I tease him about going through midlife crisis(he's 42). He's not perfect but he's very good to me and our son.

I think it's good men are becoming more conscious of their appearance and their health. I don't know anyone that falls into that category. My husband does try to eat right and he is conscious of his appearance. He takes his vitamins everyday and does use hand lotion. He's not into getting his nails done or anything like that.
