Why do all the nerd looking people always become rock stars?

Have any of you guys notced that the really cool bands like primus,bad religion and greenday the people in them always look nerdy/ugly do any of you guys no why? Why do all the nerd looking people always become rock stars? NOTE: I mean no offence to people who are ugly or nerdy looking ect.

I think AdamMax is on to something. When you can't get a girl friend you have plenty of time to practice, and plenty of time to write heart wrenching, woe is me'isms. On the other hand, it always helps to have a good looking lead singer as the 'face' of the band. Have you ever noticed that if only one of hem is going to be a hottie, it is usually the singer?

The reason they are successful is that they have no social life , being that they are so goofy. This in turn leaves them plenty of time to practice and work on the music.

Maybe they are so wrapped up in putting out good music that they don't give a lot of thought to what their appearance is. I know the guys in Everclear are a lot like that, too.
