were you normal in your teens?

Teen age is the period of change of hormones, which brings out mental and physical changes. I remember myself totally as a different person at that time. I liked to remain alone, keep thinking, cut off from people. When I slowly approached 18, things started becoming normal. How were you?

My elder sister used to call me a killjoy and a tomboy. I remember going through the most crucial years of my life then. I didn't mix much with people. I prefer to be alone at most times. I didn't talk much. My mother told me once that she was worried about me because a sister (of the Religious of the Virgin Mary) told her that I seem to have a psychological disorder. Was it really wrong if I do not want to participate in games? Slowly, I changed my attitude for my mother. I don't want her to worry so much about me. I love her so much I don't want to be a buden to her.

I also have sweet memories of that time, my sisters called me busy-man, as I was a science student, and had to study hard both in theories and practicals and they had lot of time to enjoy as they all were arts students. I escaped going to movies with them, just giving the excuses of studies.

I was exactly the same as you. I was at war with myself and the world. Somehow I still am, but in a different way.

Calm down, end up the war and have peace.
