I think either method could be considered safe, however, in my experience natural delivery comes with fewer complications after the birth of your child. Pros and cons... Cons - Well, there's the antesthetic - which can have effects on the baby. There's also the scar that's left over - which in most cases isn't all that bad. There's also a longer recovery time - since you have to consider the incision for the caesaren goes through a lot of muscles. Normal delivery comes with it's own pros and cons. However, generally the recovery period is quicker, even though the pain levels might be a bit higher during actual delivery. Anytime you go into surgery there are risks. Each and everytime I have gone into surgery they go into a number of risks that can happen from it. Normal delivery is safer because they are not cutting into you. The recovery perios of normal delivery is much quicker than if you have caesarean.
