Have you read any books by Christine Feehan?

Oh yeah I am DEFINATELY looking forward to the next one. I don't remember the name of it or who it is going to be about. Is it about...Manolito or Skyler and her lifemate? I am really looking forward to finding out who the girl was that (oh what was her name - the one who is part mage and found the book?) saw when she was looking back into the past that took control of the dragons in the cave? It was made clear that it was not Colby of the Dragonseekers..obviously there are others who are very powerful....

Oh fun! The Manolito character is definately a very strong personality. It will be very intersting to see where that one takes us. Manolito is one of the de la cruz brothers isn' he? I just can't remember! Dark Legend and Dark Guardian are probably two of my favorites; although, the one about Colby is right up there also.

The next Dark book is called Dark Possession and it is about Manolito De La Cruz and his lifemate Mary ann. You first meet Mary ann in Dark Demon she was the counselor who helps abused women. I think that Manolito is the brother of the carpathian charitor in Dark secrect. I am not sure though.

She has others in the Drake Sister Series..they are all very good and yes I am also looking forward to her next release. There is also the ghostwalker series and her dark series. She also has a couple of stand alone books one of which I hope she expands on (Wild Rain). My sister actually told me a couple of years ago that I HAD to read the Dark series. She gave me Dark Prince (the first in the group although you COULD read them in any order) and I let it sit for a couple of months. I thought "I am not in to this sort of thing". One day I got bored and picked it up....I didn't put it down. I was finished within 24 hours and was asking for the next one! I think what hooks me is the basic idea of the women being absolutely cherished, respected, and loved. Each story is about a different "couple". If you liked Dangerous Tides than I would strongly recommend trying Dark Prince. It would be best to read it first so you can come to understand the whole "carpathian" vs. "vampire" thing. Yes, it sounds bizarre and it is until you read it. The ghostwalker series (Deadly game, Conspiracy Game, etc.) are very good as well. After the first one I read I thought....'this is pretty good but doesn't compare to the dark series'. She has since published a few more and I am now definately hooked on that series as well.
