is it me or is hollyoaks not given the credit that it is due, it maybe cheese on toast at times, and have some questionable characters and actors but it does provide fantastic entertainment, and it is also on 5 times per week which must be hard work, is any one else a hollyoaks junkie, or waste of valuable time?

Hi, Well out of all the soaps, Hollyoaks is the one I like to watch most of the time. It's way better than Corrie and certainly depressing Eastenders at the moment. I do find that HO do drag storylines on a little bit too much, like the current Will and Zoe story at the moment, it's been going on for something like 5 months now, I know they are students, but surely Zoe would have cleaned her shelf by now? I think my favourties are the McQueens at the moment, they come out with some real comedy!

I completely agree with the will and zoe story but only because i hate it, it makes me cringe, lol which i suppose is a good thing from a soaps point of view, they are doing their job correctly! However i must completely disagree about eastenders being depressing at the min! i love it! The max and stacey storyline, and stella and ben! I think its only going to get more exciting, i do love all soaps though and try not to miss and episode, how sad! Thanks for the reply

I have to hold my hands up, I watch Hollyoaks every week day. I think it is one of the best soaps on telly. I love the characters and the plots. I do have to question some of them, like claire trying to kill Max and nothing was done about it. Most of the time I think it is great. I have to agree with you it does not get the credit its due.

I love hollyoaks and it was always very underated but at first it was not that good, i am a pure soap queen or so my girlfriend says. I have to sky + home and away, neighbours, hollyoaks, emmerdale, eastenders, river city and corrie lol. I am really loving the story line with (cant rememeber the name) the guy that was on countdown phyco. It is compelling and i hate having to wait for the next episode.

Daughter watches Hollyoaks and enjoys it. She went to uni in Chester and likes seeing all the sights.

i must admit hollyoaks is admirable in its own way. It's cheesiness and just british style acting is great for the time it is on. And the fact that it is on channel 4 makes it more perfect. great for teenagers.
