Love For Our Grandchildren

I have 2 grandson's ages 4 & 6. They are truly the light of our lives..don't get me wrong, I love my children very much...but the spotlight is certainly on the grandchildren at this point..I get to see them at least once a week and I really applaud my daughter for that...she makes the effort every Sat am to have them here and we get to spend about 5 hours with them..They really want to have another child but the doctors have nixed it..two high risk pregnancies was too much already...the last one was premature by about 7-8 weeks and we were blessed that he was alright. So since they can't have more of their own...they are in the process of adopting from another country. We are hoping for a girl..but will love them no matter what!!!

yes my friend as you know I have 4 grandchildren , 2 girls and 2 boys , I am like any Nanny I would die for them , The eldest is 17 and she passed her driving test this morning , earlier on tonight she came and took my hubby and myself a drive round the Block , we were both so excited for her we still had our slippers on , she chats all the time like me and she was worse tonight because she was so excited . our grandchildren are a joy as I am sure yours are too pal . lol I bet you wish you had never asked now lol xx

This is beautiful, going to save it :) I do have you topped though - I'm grandma to 5, 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons ranging in age from 1.5 to 7 (wow I can't believe he's going to be 8 this fall). I don't think anything touches my heart more than those little "Memaw I love you"'s - not sure why but all of them have picked up on that Memaw even though they can pronounce Grandma they will still call me that.

These are beautiful expressions of love for our grandchildren Kathy. They are so precious to us - I'll use these expressions next time I write to my two grandchildren in the States. We have another one due in two weeks time, this one is here in Australia thank goodness, so we can watch this one grow!

These are wonderful sentiments Kathy and I do pray that they all come true for your beautiful Grandchildren! I have none yet and since my two are only 5 and 13 I hope it is a good few years before I have any!
