How Do You Wake Up In The Morning?

I hate getting up in the morning, but if I am not up and showered by 7:45a.m. I am in trouble. However, I keep my alarm clock within arms reach so that I can hit the snooze button a few times. I usally set my alarm to 6:20a.m., so if I needed to I can hit the snooze button once and get up at 6:30a.m.
It would be nice if I could get up at 6:30, but I never do. I would also like to wake up to music, but I use music to fall asleep, so that would not work. So, I wake up to the beep, beep, beeping in my ear. Oh joy, it's morning.
When I was little and spent the night at my auntie's house, we would wake up to "KFWB news 98, all news, all the time, you give us twenty-two minutes, will give you the world. Since I have to coax myself to get up in the first place, there is no way in the world that I want to arise to bad news.
People who use their internal clock to wake up, scare me. There is just no way I could trust my internal clock that much. Sometimes, it takes a minute for the beep, beep, beeping to be annoying enough to get my attention.
But, one good thing about me is that it does not matter what time I go to bed, as long as I set my alarm, I get up, if I need to get up, I'm up. Just make sure you don't give me an out, because more than likely, you will not see me.

Well, simply put, i set 3 different alarms. Yes am a sleepy head, and it takes me three different timed alarms to wake me up. One rings, i dont wake up, ignore it, cze i never hear it, the second rings, i shut it, and go back to sleep. But by this time, am out of that 'fainted' state. The third on rings, and rings, and i really have to get up to shut it. And once am up, i dont find any reason to go and lie back down, no matter how inviting it looks. Then, as usual, off to the normal schedule, or freshning up, changing, breakfast, and all!

I am not a morning person at all :) I do not like the alarm clock but that is what it takes to get me up, that or a phone call. Then I have to have some coffee, but I now drink decaf coffee so it is just the mental rush for me now. But once I am awake, that's it, I'm awake all day.

Hello Rozie,
So i am not the only one who wants to grow his sleeping hours, LOL. good to know that. Ya its very painfull to
leave the warmth of the bed at the morning , i agree on
that but as per my father saying one who sleeps late
his fortunes also sleep late, so no matter what we have
to get up.I prefer my mobile to do the alarming , and its keept at a safe distance so that i have to personally go
and shut its mouth , a fool-proof precaution from my side
to say good bye to my bed.LOL
