Are you a conspiracist? Yes I think I just made up that word. Are you one who believes this was inside job? Or do you believe President Bush is doing his job the best he can in a difficult situation and is truly trying to remedy the situation.

I'm not sure one way or another, but I will say that I don't see where either side seems more or less likely to me. That probably says more than I could say by picking sides... I think that it is AS likely that the government (or someone even higher up) caused 9/11 purposefully in order to bring about certain results, ie taking more of our rights away (see: Patriot Act) as it is that terrorists did it. Problem/Reaction/Solution... We want do so something... We create a problem that causes people to react and then accept our solution, which was the original thing we wanted to do... Invisible manipulation routine widely used by governments. On the other hand, it coulda been terrorists. Hard to say. I'd rather not speculate - both possibilities paint an ugly picture of our world today.

Yea you hit the nail right on the head with the problem/reaction/solution thing. I've known about that technique for a long time but wasn't sure if I should bring it up. They did the same thing with WW2. They wanted to create the United Nations but knew that people wouldn't go for it unless they created a reason for it. Once the reason is in place then the majority of the people demand what the high up people wanted to put in place anyway.

I think Bush is a moron, butI think 9/11 happened just the way it wasshown in amature video on television for months afterwards. There ws no conspiracy within the American government. The buildings collapsed simply because steel buckles at a certain temperature, and the inside of those buildings reached that temp. Then the weight of the top floors landing on the lower ones simply collapsed them as well. Lets face it, They were never built to withstand a direct hit by a missile because Americans thought they were impervious to attack.

WHo did that test on the cell phones? Just wondering. Usually internet conspiracies say stuff like that but it really wasn't a credible "study". So you're saying those that got phone calls from their loved ones, and there were a few, are lying and their family members didn't exist or are hiding now? And no, there is no evidence bombs were in the building, there are theories and lies about what firemen said.

Actually there is a lot of evidence that explosives were planted in the building that were set to go off when the planes crashed into it. Another thing, there was research done involving the use of cellphones on the 9/11 planes. The test planes flew at the same altitude that the 9/11 planes did and tried to make cell phone calls. They found that at that altitude, they really couldn't get any cellphone reception. So the people that supposedly used their cell phones to make calls from those planes couldn't possibly have done so. They must've been calling from somewhere else. Check out the book I mentioned in my post if you think you are open minded enough to read it.

I think Bush is doing his best and I support him in his line of action HOWEVER, I do think this could have been avoided...

This was a threat known to the government years in advance. Clinton had several opertunities to get rid of bin laden but was too concerned with the legalities and our image in the world to do so. Bush was only in office 8 months before this happened. I'm sure something could have been done by him as well but again, he was the new kid on the block and still learning the ropres. He suddenly found himself facing the most serious situations this country has faced in decades as a new president. I think under the circumstances, he did what he could. A study was done by a very reputable group, The Carnegie Mellon group that showed 1 to 4 cell calls are made on an average flight. Can you imagine the monumental task it would be to fake all those phone calls on 9/11? To fool that many people into thinking they were talking to family? The so called " explosions" that were witnessed were nothing more than air being forced out of lower windows as the other floors began to collaps. The steal was weakend by the intense heat of burning furniture, carpet, walling and other materials allowing the building to collaps in the stacked fasion it did. This had the effect of making it look like a controlled collaps. Lest also not forget taht bin laden himself admitted to the attacks.

Oh yeah Bush definitely knew what was going on. Try reading the book "Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster". It gives a lot of evidence about the conspiracies. The author is David Icke. www.davidicke.com

That's great. Most of the time when I tell people about David Icke's books they've never heard of him before.

I believe all the evidence should be looked at, no matter how right or left wing it may seem, everything should be taken with a grain of salt, I've seen numerous documentaries flat out blaming our government for these attacks, and telling us that we are slowly becoming a facist nation. In these times with all the different information were exposed to, it's important to try and form you own original opinions based on all the evidence, but evidence that is supported by hard fact. Facts such as, on 9/11 for the first time in history, our VP was put in charge of our air defense system, or that we were running drills eerily similar to the attacks on that same day. I do think our government at least had foreknowledge of these events, and I do also believe that we used these attacks as a pretext for war with Iraq, even though it was proven that they had no WMD's (another terrible mishap in itself) and they most likely had no ties to Al Qaeda. All we can do in this time is stay informed as we can and really question everything that is handed to us. Stay informed!
