It "describes the perceived danger to children presented by stangers." Will you allow your children to talk to a stranger eventhough the latter look harmless?

Oh god no I dont let my children talk to any strangers now adays but thats not what worries me, its when our children are out on their own are they smart enough to turn and run away? Id like to think so but even the best taught children still fall for certain things. Theres no 100% sure way to protect our children unless we lock them in the house so we have to just keep telling them how dangerous it really is out there and not to trust anybody.

I agree with you. It's very dangerous. Even if the stranger looked harmless, we cannot tell. A lot of people including children have been reported missing without even a trace. And we need to teach our children to be careful. Thank you for your response.

I don't have children but I regularly look after my partners neice and I won't let her talk to anyone except a child on the park. If I see her walking off I run after her. She always stays in my sight! I couldn't bear for anything to happen to that little girl. She is like a daughter to me. She often asks me to do things with her or for her instead of her mother (she is only 4 1/2) so i see her as my own blood relative even though she isnt. But I would NEVER let her talk to anyone I dont know. If I know them but she doesnt I wouldnt talk to them either as she has been brought up not to talk to strangers and I feel that would be sayin its ok if they say they know someone she knows. I dont want to promote that to her. If someone looks harmless it does change anything. You should never judge a book by a cover. Especially people you dont know
