With all the global warming talk that has been going around lately. Do you think the United nations is doing enough to stop it from happening. Here in the United States factories have to follow strict air quality laws but in other Countries they do what ever they like. If the other countries do not help out it isn't doing any good for the United States to implement all these laws. What do you think?????

The UN is not doing enough because the UN is a faulty system right now. The European Union however is planning on testing a Fusion Power Plant by the end of 10 years, a reaction where the only bi-product is water. Too bad the US is doing nothing to help or anything.

I think that some of the warming can't be prevented. The earth goes through cycles as part of its natural processes. Everyone forgot about the ice age? Once the process begins it can't be stopped. The activities of humans are contributing but they are not the sole cause. All the gnashing of teeth about stopping it prevents planning on how to deal with all of the impoverished people who will either become refugees or die. THAT is what the UN isn't doing enough about. Where are all these people supposed to go? Why aren't they insisting that people, world wide, practice better family planning?

Yes, I agree. But pollution is a large part of global warming (at least that is what they are telling us). If the whole earth would have the same standards on their pollution laws it may slow it down just a tad. Thank you for responding.
