Have You Gotten in Trouble on Ebay from Small Print?

I frequently bid on items on eBay without reading all of the fine print. In fact I recently had to withdraw a bid because the search criteria was for dread falls (fake hair) and the item I bid on didn't include the dread falls, only the piece that held them in place. Do you always make sure you are bidding on what you think you are bidding on?

You should always read each and every auction very carefully before making a bid. It is far too easy to make a mistake if you don't check things out. When I hve things for sale on eBay I am always very, very careful to write a full and accurate description of items as I know how easy it is to be mistaken. I have fallen foul of this a couple of times, simply because I didn't take the time to read the whole description.

Always read the fine print to know what you are getting yourself into and check the shipping prices too. Some people have something on there dirt cheap but their shipping is out the rear, when it would actually only cost half the amount they are charging to send it.

I try too.But i too have been caught. My main mistake seems to be bidding for items that do not take paypal. It is such a pain in the butt to have to get a money order and send to them.I would never send them a check. It has to much personal info on it.

I've been buying and selling on eBay for years, and I -always- read the entire auction, even if I've bought from that seller before. As a buyer, I am committing myself to completing the deal, and I sure as heck want to know precisely what the deal is and what the terms are. To do otherwise would be negligent on my part.

not trouble really, but i did have an issue recently where i bid on an item and didn't see that the seller only accepted paypal. it ended amicably enough, and i'm being given a neutral rating, which is fair, it is my fault afterall.
