If you were on the bachelor...

If you were on the Bachelor or Bachelorette as the main person, and got to design the first date, what would you like to do? Something active and crazy, or something quiet where you could talk to the contestants? Would you want to go eat somewhere? Would you like something where everyone gets dressed up, or would you prefer to stay casual?

I like the day at the beach idea, or maybe day in the park. Anything low key and low stress to help the two people get to know each other in a low stress environment. I'm sure it's stressful enough as is with all the cameras that surround them and the camera crew. I can't imagine that it's really any place to go for a real romantic date. Not with so many strangers looking on. Thanks for the question. I love the Bachelor show.

it is true that it is really difficult to achieve a warm, cozy and friendly atmosphere as all the cameras are there and there are also the members of the crew and staff around poking there eyes at each and every move of the participants in the show. but like you, i prefer a relaxed atmosphere where all the participants can casually talk and move.

I think if I get the chance to be the Bachelorette, I will want the first date to be just talking and get to know the person. I would see whether they are all genuinely in love with me or just want to take part in this show because they want to be glamorous or just want to be my partner to get the prize money and that's all. I think I am quite good in reading people's body language. From the quiet talk I am able to get a general idea of whom to choose for the next date and whom to eliminate.

If I were the main character on the Bachelorette I think that I would be one to keep things pretty quiet (I wouldn't be interesting enough to make the show fun I don't think). If I had my choice I would want to keep things casual and go out for a dinner somewhere, somewhere to talk and keep things as real as possible.

if i were on the bachelor or bachelorette, my first design date shall be something which is carried quietly and sweetly where everyone is dressed casually. i prefer a relaxed atmosphere where i can talk with the contestants on a level of some degree of warm friendship in order to have a good feel of everyone.

You pose an interesting question. I think I would prefer a really casual date.. like an afternoon picnic/clambake on the beach. I would prefer to find out as much information about each guy before the rose ceremony. I am not really the daredevil type though. No bungee jumping for me.

I would want something casual, yet romantic. I guess dinner at a little cafe and then a nice walk on the beach. Then I could get to know them.
