Eddie's disrobing speech in front of Carlos

How many of you watched last night's episode (April 8th) and saw Eddie's speech that she gave as she was taking her clothes off in front of Carlos? Do you think she was just saying that to get his sympathy and use that to seduce him, or do you think she was being genuine in her feelings?
I have to say that I think (and hope!) that she was being genuine. I know so many girls and women that are like this, and I think it really helped to show how human these girls are--who use themselves to get men. I think it would be great if Eddie and Carlos could have a solid, real relationship.
Although when Gabby finds out...oh boy!

The thing that surprised me the most is that she actually did this to Gaby.. i would be furious if I was her. An exhusband is off limits, especially with their history.
However I do think that the speach possibly came from her true feelings coz I can imagine that this is how she feels, however she is still a very sceeming woman and you never know what she has in store for him!

Are you telling me, that she loves him after seeing him playing basketball and taking his shirt off? I doubt it. It will definately be interesting to see what plays out.

I saw the episode and I thought she looked genuine....but she did ultimately get what she wanted though...hehehe...
It will be interesting to see what happens to this new "couple." I think it is sweet how Carlos is being such a good sport with her son, too.

You know I have no idea. She seemed genuine and vulnerable but who really knows what the writers have up their sleeves. But yes look out for Gabby, she is

I think it's possible that it was a mix of both genuine feelings and a play to seduce him.
I think that he hit a nerve with her when he said the things to her about being the 'party girl'. Maybe made her think about where she was in her life.
Edie really isn't the type of person that I get along with, but I do sort of feel bad for her, even though her problems are her own doing.
I do agree, though, that Gabby will be royally ticked off when/if she finds out!

Honestly, I thought the scene was kinda cheesy and a little silly. I don't think she suddenly has 'genuine' feelings for Carlos. She's not in love with him, and I think the scene was way too dramatic. Plus, I'm sure if she truly wanted to change her image the last thing she'd be doing is getting naked with her friend's ex husband. Just my thoughts :-) Personally, I want to know what's going to go down with the Scavo family now that Lynette is the sole restaurant manager... will the orange shirts stay or go? lol!
