adding 'safe' email addresses to Gmail

How can you add safe email addresses to your gmail account so that they aren't filtered and put into spam? Thanks in advance!

add ur email address to your contacts. then mails will not be routed to the Spam or Junk folder.

Besides adding them to your contacts, you can also add a mail filter and/or apply a label so you can easily see when you get mail from this contact. :)
