when starting to read a pocketbook, do you peek on the last pages to see how the story ended?

I dont like to look or peep at the end pages, its like whats the use of reading the book if you know whats going to happen already, I like the build up and suspense, keeps me interested. I like to get caught up in the book lol. Its just like watching a new movie, then someone comes along and tells the movie before you get to watch it...

No, I don't. The reason behind this is of course I don't wanna spoil the ending. I mean, on the course of reading a book, I always have this habit of predicting the ending, changing my opinion from one chapter to another, and this activity enjoys me. It's actually one of the reasons why I love reading pocketbooks, so that I may taste how well I can cope up with situations if I'm in the shoe of the characters. Also, being a frstrated writer takes its toll, because of it I always wanted to write my own endings. Just imagine my delight when I found out that the author have chosen to end the story the way I wanted him/her to. Trust me, it's more satisfying than knowing the ending firsthand. {*wink}

Oh no, I never peek at the ending. I love the suspense, the wonder of the story unfolding. It's good to see if what I think will happen does happen. And I never read a book twice. Once in a while I'll start reading a book from the library and after the first few paragraphs I will know that I already read it.......even if I can't remember what happens I put it away and start a different book. is that odd or what?
