I was raised in a small town, very far from the city lights. Not untill the end of my college years I've experience life in the urban zone. I go home every week, well.. almost every weekends. I just spent the holy week with my family and I wished it never end. But then, there were times when I need to go home to the province that I just don't feel like it. Have you seen "Sweet Home Alabama"? Whenever I'm here in the city, it feels perfect that I just don't to go home and experience the rural life. But when I'm home, if feels so good that I don't want to go back in the city and forget the corporate world. So, what do you prefer, a backyard in the county or an apartment unit in the city?

I feel the same way you do! I grew up in a really small area, and am now living in a city. Sweet Home Alabama is a sentimental movie for me, because I know all too well that familiar pull between country and city! I think that I would like to live in the city while I'm young and then back to the country when I'm ready to settle down and raise a family. Living in a city is fun and exciting, but I wouldn't trade the way I grew up for anything, and I would want the same for my kids someday.

Exactly the opposite is the case for me. All my life Ive been a big city girl. Then i went to the US to study and was living in a small university town for 5 years. Now that i am back home, i sometimes feel lost - I feel like the city si too big for me now and miss the ideals of a small town. But i guess there are pros and cons to both - it would probbaly be better to live in a city while we are still young and then retire to the country side.
